Florotel Gensan: Your Home in General Santos City

3 Feb

During my most recent trip to General Santos City, I had the opportunity to stay at Florotel GenSan for the first time.

Florotel GenSan is a business hotel located along North Laurel Avenue, General Santos City.  It’s the newest hotel in the city and I must say one of the nicest additions to GenSan’s growing list of hotels and inns.

Committed to providing personalised service and elegant accommodations, Florotel GenSan has 31 well-furnished rooms with quality interiors and outfitted with modern amenities.  I was given de luxe accommodations during my short stay and I loved every minute of it.    My room was clean, spacious, well-lighted and tastefully decorated.  The hotel staff are notably efficient, accommodating, and courteous.

As a business hotel, Florotel GenSan does not disappoint.  It provides free WiFi connection and is currently setting up a business center for clients who are traveling on business.   Function rooms are also available for meetings and conferences.

Another nice feature of Florotel GenSan is that a 24-hour branch of Dimsum Diner is located within the hotel premises.  Dimsum Diner is a popular dimsum place in Mindanao so you don’t have to step out of the hotel to satisfy your late-night cravings for steamed dumplings, rice toppings, and  piping hot noodle soup.

The room rates at Florotel GenSan range from P1200 (superior rooms)  to P2500 (executive suites). Very reasonable  because you’ll be treated to elegant accommodations, complimentary breakfast, and excellent service throughout the duration of your stay.  And if you’re lucky, you just might get a room with a view.

So whenever you’re in General Santos City for leisure or for business, do stay at Florotel GenSan.  It’s a very nice business hotel and it can easily be your home in General Santos City.

It’s my first time to hear about Florotel and I am glad I’ve stumbled upon your blog.

I spent +/- two years in Gensan. Worked as a hospital pharmacist at St. Elizabeth Hosp. After resigning during the first quarter of 2002, I wasn’t able to travel back to Gensan.

During my next vacay’ in the PHilippines, I’m really hoping to spend at least two days there so I can meet up with my Gensan friends.

    Again, thanks for the info!

I travel Cebu a lot and Davao and vice versa. I hope I can journey to to General Santos City too. I miss the place.

Ganda nga ng pics na ginamit ko ano? But the photographer wants to stay anonymous. Itago natin sha sa pangalang Lyle Santos.

You may use just a portion of my article and one picture and properly link to it. I also strongly advise against hotlinking to any of the images.

Hi, I’m looking for a venue for my daughter’s debut this coming October. I just want to know how much is the cost, is it per head? Do you have wide function room to hold like this event?

Hi. You’re welcome! I hope you’ll enjoy your vacation in GenSan. Do find time to visit Red Trellis seafood resto, Piyesta KTV Bar and resto and Grab A Crab when you’re there.
