With gas prices still on the rise, many RV owners are trading in their vehicles. However, this doesn’t mean that you have to give up your dreams of traveling around the country in the comfort in your own vehicle. Dave Arbogast vans offer many viable solutions for road travelers looking to purchase vehicles that will help them get to their destinations. Conversion vans are the solution for people who don’t want the bulk of an RV, or who simply just want a spruced up van.
At the same time, you may not be interested in the costs or hassle associated with converting a van. The good news is there are plenty of already-converted vans on the market that have just the features you’re looking for. Used conversion vans are the perfect solution if you want all the details but none of the hassle.
So I have included E L James’ Fifty Shades of Grey in my must-read list. And having read the first book, I can’t say I’m hooked. It wasn’t a good read for me. Not that it’s bad writing. It’s just that one of the main characters, Anastasia Steele, is intolerable. She’s so needy and overly dramatic that you’d think she came out of a novel for teens.
I’m not really into classic films but once in a while I pick a title and watch it out of curiosity.
I think I may have watched at least six classic films in the last three years — Gone with the Wind, 12 Angry Men, Psycho, Wizard of Oz, Rosemary’s Baby, and most recently, To Catch a Thief.
To Catch a Thief, starring Cary Grant and Grace Kelly, is a 1955 film directed by Alfred Hitchcock. In the movie, John Robie (Cary Grant) is a retired American jewel thief who is living peacefully on the French Riviera. Unfortunately, a jewel thief who uses the same modus operandi as Robie’s, hits the resorts and mansions in the community. Since all evidence points to him the police begins to track him down and to prove his innocence, Robie starts his own investigation to catch the real thief. It is during his investigation when he meets and starts a romance with Frances Stevens (Grace Kelly).
One of the most anticipated events in Davao City this month is the launch of SM Lanang Premier on September 28.
SM Lanang Premier, a 144,002 square-meter shopping mall, is SM Prime’s biggest mall development project in Mindanao. The mall combines contemporary cutting-edge architecture, state-of-the-art entertainment and convention facilities, and a choice mix of international and national brands to provide customers with a world-class shopping and dining experience.
As an adult, one of the tasks I have to accomplish on a daily basis is managing my finances. I’m still single and still live with my dad so I don’t worry about “grown-up” stuff like rent, mortgage, or clothing and tuition for the kids. I don’t have a car so I don’t worry about gas and repairs as well. But the thing is, I do take care of some of the bills at home and I have stopped asking my father for allowance (LOL!) so there’s still a need for me to work within a budget and keep track of my spending.
A few years back, I kept a small notebook for keeping track of my expenses. I wanted to know where every peso went so I would religiously record each and every expense and read my entries before I sleep at night. It was quite tedious because I had to bring my notebook everywhere I went lest I forget my expenditures for the day.
Luckily for me, I now own a couple of iOS devices so managing my finances is way easier than it was a couple of years ago. There are a lot of finance apps available for the iPad and the iPhone that allows users to manage their budget and keep track of their spending efficiently.
Last month, I wrote about my bluer than blue walls and my plans to decorate my room with removable wall stickers. Well, long story short, the removable stickers I ordered online finally arrived and here are some pics of my prettified walls.
I wanted to decorate one corner of my room so I ordered 4 sets of stickers thinking that each set is just a few inches tall. And I’m glad I did because the stickers are large enough to cover more space plus, the designs I chose are really cute and perfect for my blue-themed room.
I love the movies but I rarely watch them in cinemas. Most of the time, I just wait for it to become available in DVD. Not that I don’t appreciate the cinema watching experience, it’s just that I find watching movies at home much more convenient.
If you think about it, watching movies in the theater usually involves a lot of annoyances. There’s the long queue at the ticket booth, those loud and noisy teenagers, and that know-it-all movie nerd who feels it’s his responsibility to explain every scene to his companions and everyone else who had the misfortune of being seated close to him.
One of the US TV shows I’m following is Criminal Minds. Oh I admit I started watching the series a few years late and it was sheer boredom that made me give it a try. But all it took me was a full episode and I wasn’t just hooked, I was roped in.
L to R: Reid, Prentiss, Garcia, Hotcher, Rossi, Morgan, and JJ.
Sometimes, I ask myself why I would like I crime show so much. I’d like to think I’m not a hopeless nutcase when it comes to police procedural drams. I watched CSI for a while and I wasn’t whipped. Ever. But Criminal Minds is a different story. The whole criminal profiling thing really intrigued me. By the third episode, my vocabulary included terms like unsub, MO, blitz attack, victimology, organized offender, and signature.
