Blogging Frenzy

Here’s my list for the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2011.  This writing project, now on its 5th year of recognizing new blogs , was started by Ms. Janette Toral.

I know this entry is long overdue and I don’t even know if it meets the deadline.

But I’m joining this project anyway and hope that the few blogs I follow will make it to the list.

• Eat’s Terrific!- This is the food blog of Orman Manansala, one of my favorite bloggers.  I love reading Orman’s food and restaurant reviews because of his honest,  no-nonsense writing style.
• KiKay Much-  This is Donna Mae Congson’s beauty and fashion blog.  A true kikay, Donna shares valuable beauty tips to her readers and features hot trends in beauty and fashion as well.
• I Am Ariel Lalisan - One of the founders of the Sox Bloggers, Ariel is also a dedicated educator who finds time to get involved with a  lot of interesting things.

I am voting for  Life with Ria for the Philippine Blog Awards 2010 Bloggers Choice Award.

I am voting for Ria’s blog because it’s a fun read.   I also like the fact that she blogs about her experiences and life as it is. No pretense.  No sugar-coating. No attempts at making her life appear more interesting.

Enough said.

• Alexis Chua- the self-titled blog of  one of Mindanao’s smartest teen bloggers
• Ako si Rabsky- Ravi Villanueva’s personal blog filled with sincere and very insightful blog posts
• Avatar Media- the official site of Avatar Media, a new media outfit that makes the most exciting things happen in the Philippine blogosphere
• Tea, Completely- a blog by tea  connoisseurs Andrew dela Serna and Aileen Apolo
• Get Prettified!- my attempt at blogging about beauty, fashion, and lifestyle (ahem!)
