Blogging Frenzy

Last October 3, I attended a Red Ribbon event for the bloggers of Davao, GenSan, and Cagayan de Oro who were in Manila to attend WordCamp Philippines 2010.  The event, which took place at the Fort Bonifacio branch of Red Ribbon, was organized by Red Ribbon’s Marketing  Team through blogger Jonel Uy.

I have always liked Red Ribbon products so  I was super delighted that they treated us to an early lunch consisting of a combination of their bestsellers and newest offerings like salisbury steak, pancit palabok, and crispy chicken.  I  also had their bestselling chicken empanada, a slice or  two of  Mango Passion cake, and one of their signature blended drinks.

It’s almost two weeks after WordCamp Philippines 2010 and  I admit I haven’t blogged about it yet.  I’m still too tired to blog about it in full-length so I thought I’d just share some pics before and after the event here.

Well, just a background, I was one of the event’s project leads.  My tasks included coordinating with the different Avatar Media team members on WordCamp-related stuff…you know, like “you need to get this done by this time”, or “what’s the latest update on”…During the event, I helped out during the registration and headed the food committee.

WordCamp Philippines 2010 will be in 12 days and  Avatar Media,  the organizing team, is neck-deep in preparations.  The next two weeks will be so crazy but it’ll be all worth it, I know.

We have already finalized the design of the official WordCamp Philippines 2010 shirt late last month.  I have  worn my own WordCamp Philippines 2010 t-shirt twice and I guarantee that it won’t disappoint.  If you have registered for the event, I hope you have activated your Central account and have set your shirt size.
